Correlation between postmenstrual age (PMA) at MRI scan and the diffusion tensor imaging along the perivascular space (DTI-ALPS) index This figure illustrated the correlation between PMA at MRI scan and the DTI-ALPS index in all neonates, showing a significant relationship initially. However, this correlation was not observed when data were analyzed separately for term and preterm neonates. Furthermore, after adjustments were made for gestational age and sex, the correlation between PMA and DTI-ALPS index disappeared in all neonates
